Fee-only Service
The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) defines a Fee-Only planner as "one who, in all circumstances, is compensated solely by the client, with neither the advisor nor any related party receiving compensation that is contingent on the purchase or sale of a financial product. A NAPFA member may not receive commissions, rebates, awards, finder's fees, bonuses or any form of compensation from other as a result of a client's implementation of the individual's planning recommendations."
Comprehensive Financial Planning
Our comprehensive services include review and analysis of several areas including personal goals, net worth, current spending habits, retirement goals, tax issues, current investment portfolio, estate planning issues , insurance concerns and education funding. You will receive a written plan, containing detailed specific recommendations tailored to your needs.
Asset Management
This includes active portfolio management with on going financial planning. Services include opening new accounts, the transfer of assets, continual monitoring of your assets, quarterly asset reports that allow you to clearly see your investment returns, rebalancing when necessary, and tracking Required Minimum Distributions. Our primary investment choice is no-load mutual funds. However, investments may include: equities (stocks), corporate debt securities, commercial paper, certificates of deposit, municipal securities, and U. S. government securities.
Document Organization and Scanning
Using state of the art computer equipment, we will scan your investment, insurance and banking documents onto the medium of your choice (CD Rom or portable hard drive that you provide). These key documents could then be carried along with you during a disaster, and would provide help in recovering and accessing your financial assets more quickly. A duplicate copy will be given to you to place in a safety-deposit box or other safe storage area. We will also provide a list of things that you can do today to insure the safe-keeping of other valuable personal information.
